Read What People Are Saying About....

The Kitchen Beautician

"Your book was amazing. I Enjoyed It To The Fullest. There were parts where I cracked up laughing and parts where I just wanted to shed a tear for Javon. The ending was a shocker to me, and it left me with a huge smile on my face. I hardly wanted to put the book down. I loved it. You are a huge inspiration for me, and I know others as well. Keep up the great work. God has truly blessed you!"
Amri Wood – Rockford, IL

"I just finished the book. I started on Ch. 4 this morning in the airport and I’m done. This book was absolutely phenomenal. It’s a true testament of God’s deliverance to someone struggling with their sexuality. I felt like I was right there in ATL with Javon. I was elated with the way the book ended! This book is truly an AWESOME read. Thank u so much for writing about life’s realities. God Bless."
Deidre Reese – CT

"The Kitchen Beautician really hit home for me, since I’m a beautician myself. All the shop stories were so real. The book just kept me captivated with the story of Javon, which so many men are livimg with this issue, that they can’t find real love. I would highly recommend this book. Way to go Gracie! You really out did yourself with this one. It’s my favorite!!"
Kathryn Evans – Indiana

"Wow, is all I can say. I could not put the book down. The content was so intentional and relevant. You kept it real. I truly was blessed by the different elements shared in the book and it provoked me to pay attention to my surroundings more and self. Good job!"
Quiana Preston - Loves Park, IL

"I truly commend you on your ability to perfect the characteristics of others as well as real life events into the books you have crafted. I’ve read many books in my lifetime but a lot of them were not as powerful as yours. It’s like you put yourself into these books and that you’ve experienced or witnessed the events you wrote about."

"Most people never discover their talent, but I think it’s safe to say that you have. And I encourage you to keep up the good work. I look forward to reading more. May God bless you and your loved ones."
Ammar Mahdi - St. Louis Missouri

I finally finished the Kitchen Beautician. Of course once I started reading the book and I had to steal time to get some in daily because I was anxious to see what was going to happen. The book is such a testimony to how individuals have been endowed by God to be blessings in others lives, if we take the challenge and follow his command. I like the way you set the stage with Javon and his parents. How they unknowingly helped him cross a milestone as he was trying to reach his deliverance. It was so powerful in that once his mother opened up and said the three magic words, “I Love You,” Javon was on an upward spiral up!!! Great writing!
